Born: 13.10.1947.

Education:

1968-73 – student at Royal Danish Academy of Art in Copenhagen, under Professor Harald Leth and Professor Egill Jacobsen.

1973-75 – attends 2-year course at Art Teaching Department of Academy of Art, under Professor Helge Bertram.

1975-83 – employed in the Laboratory for Paint Science.

1983-87 – teacher at the Jutland Academy of Art in Århus.

1990-     -  moves to South of France.

Study Grants:

1988 – Study grant from Danish state Art Fund.

1992 – 3-year study grant from Danish state Art Fund.

Travels and Study trips:

1954-58 – resident in East Africa.

1958-65 – several journeys with father’s merchant ship to Mediterranean and the Atlantic seaboard of North and South America.

1968      - study journey to Holland and Spain.

1971      - study journey to Tunis.

1973      - study journey to Southern spain and Marocco.

1975      - study journey to Spain.

1977      - study journey to Cave paintings in South of France.

1979      - study journey to ochre-pits at Rousillon in South of France.

1980      - study journey to umber-pits at Larnaca on Cyprus.

1981      - study journey to Florence in Italy.

1982      - 2 months working at Nordic Centre of Art at Sveaborg in Sweden.

1983      - study journey to Paris and cave paintings in South of France.

1984      - study journey to Greece.

1986      - study journey to Corsica.

1987      - study journey to New York.

1988      - study journey to Crete.

1990      - resident in South of France.

from then on study journey every year to Denmark.
